Canadian Brand Analysis and Garment Production Project
The Canadian Brand Analysis and Garment Production Project assess a conceptual Canadian brand’s identity, including the Business Organization, Marketing Plan, Target Customer, Marketing Positioning Objective Goals and Retail Strategy in the production of its first F/W collection launch titled Autumn Picnic. This conceptual brand focuses on catalog garments, but also incorporates modular aspects to garments such as removable legs on pants, removable sleeves on jackets, which would be offered on a consultation and custom production basis.
Autumn Picnic is taken from initial sketching phase, to considering the sellability of each garment, and then creating tech packs for one example garment. This tech pack includes the garment overview, BOMs and notions sheets, POMs indication and charts, technical indications sheet, order of construction, finishing and QC standards, garment packing and retail presentation, and positioning strategy and sizing/fit guides.
